Challenge Ingredients

Raw Unheated Honey

Personally I like the brand Honey Pacifica. They have many different types of honey, but for this challenge I would recommend their Cold Packed Sage Honey or their Cold Packed Coastal California Wildflower Honey. These are sold on their site or you can purchase them through Amazon, although they cost more on Amazon for some reason. They are also sold at my local Whole Foods (I'm in San Diego), however I do not know if they are sold there nationwide.

I also recommend purchasing local honey from your local farmer's market, as long as it is pesticide free. Be sure to ask the seller!

Argan Oil

I love argan oil and am very picky about where to buy it from since many of the brands you will find on Amazon dilute their oils, which is why they are so cheap! I'm currently buying organic argan oil from Starwest Botanicals. Truly an amazing oil.

Jojoba Oil

I recommend getting jojoba oil either from Better Shea Butter on Amazon or from Starwest Botanicals.

Ground Psyllium Husks/ Oat Bran

This is pretty easy to find. I got mine in the bulk section of the local health food store. You can also buy psyllium husks and oat bran on Amazon.

Activated Charcoal

You can buy this in capsule form at most health food stores, but I like using the loose powder better for beauty recipes. The brand that I use is on Amazon from Rocky Mountain Essentials and is made from coconuts. Whichever brand you end up buying, just make sure that it is food-grade.

Aloe Vera Gel

I use organic aloe vera gel from NaturSense on Amazon.

Witch Hazel

I prefer Thayer's Alcohol Free Witch Hazel available Amazon.

Carrot Seed, Frankincense, Geranium and Lavender Essential Oils

I recommend getting essential oils from Starwest Botanicals. You can check out their Statement of Quality here!

Challenge Supplies

You will need four 1 oz amber dropper bottles for the moisturizer and eye-makeup remover. You can find them on Amazon here.

We'll be using 4oz mason jars for the honey and scrub, which you can find on Amazon here.

A funnel is recommended to use for the 1 oz amber dropper bottles.
